120 Christians inclusive of 9 priests made a pilgrimage to Nairobi in commemoration of the 79th Anniversary of the death of Edel Quinn from 11th May to 14th May 2023. They visited the burial site of Edel Quinn. The main celebrant was Rt. Rev. George Muthaka, Ordinary of the Catholic Diocese of Garisa. He encouraged the legionaries to be proud of being what they are, to be prayerful and love God.
A total of 15,061 rosaries had been collected by Legionaries as they responded to the call by the bishop of Jinja. They will be handed over on 31st May 2023.
Obituary. Br. Francis Xavier Sserunjoji, former president of Senatus of Uganda (1989-1995) passed away on 4th May 2023 and burial was held on 6th May 2023. May his soul rest in Peace.
