Preparations for the National Spiritual Directors at St. Mary’s National Major Seminary, Ggaba are in high gear. The venue is already book. Councils and Praesidia are encouraged to pay for their Spiritual Directors in advance for proper planning.
Pilgrimage to Kibeho, Rwanda will be from Thursday, 7th September at 8pm till 9th September 2023. Members that wish to take part should make payments to Br. Anthony Rucukye (treasurer of the Committee) on 0754730282 or 0785393593. Each Pilgrim is to pay UGX 270,000 (catering for transport, accommodation and meals).
Plans to develop the room of the first Legion of Mary meeting in Uganda is on. The room is located in Nkokonjeru and the Little Sisters of St. Francis had handed over the room to Senatus. The plan is to set up the Legion of Mary altar with items like the holy image of our Lady that was brought by Edel Quinn. The committee is collecting different articles. All councils are invited on 23rd September 2023 as we commemorate the 86th anniversary of Legion of Mary in Uganda.
In the meeting, Bukuumi Comitium, St. Matia Mulumba Curia and Mother of Christ, Christ the King Praesidium presented their annual reports.
