In the allocutio based on the Spiritual reading taken from the Legion of Mary Handbook Chapter 18, Section 3, titled “The Meeting opens”, Page 107 “The meeting opens with the invocation and prayer to the Holy Spirit, who is the source of that Grace, that Life, that Love, of which we rejoice to regard Mary as the channel,” Rev Fr John Bosco Batiika reminded us that Mary is the channel through which the Holy Spirit brings his gifts to Her children. The Holy Spirit is the source of grace love and life.

Our initiative to spread the message of Laudato Si: On Care of our Own Home, tree planting by each Legionary continues and we await a report through the respective councils. Kindly try to plant a tree in your area.
The Nairobi pilgrimage had been scheduled to take place from 8th to 11th May 2024. However, due to the National Population Census 2024 that was scheduled on 10th May 2024, our Church Leaders advised us to postpone. The pilgrimage took place from 22nd May 2024 and report will be shared in the next publication.
On South Sudan, we received the unfortunate news of the insecurity in the diocese where tribal clashes arose and the abduction of one priest Rev. Fr. Luke Yugue and a driver. For that, our extension in South Sudan will be postponed. We shall be embarking on Ethiopia.
World priest Annual Global Rosary Relay for the sanctification of priests will take place on 7th June 2024 starting at 6am to Midnight. We are requested to involve as many people as possible.
